When you’re buying in Euros, it makes sense to think about applying for a mortgage in Euros for many reasons, not least because historically the Euro interest rates have been lower than the UK.
Once you have purchased your property you will easily be able to see the debt reducing and any capital appreciation.
Taking a Euro mortgage also means that the loan is secured on the property you’re buying, rather than releasing equity from your family home in the UK.
